Concert in French: “Voyage Voyage”, by Adrienne Haan
The House of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in New York was transformed into a cabaret to welcome more than 50 guests, members of the Luxembourg community but also the Deputy Consul of Burkina Faso, the Swiss Consul and even a famous American actress, Laila Robins, friend of our extraordinary singer.
Described as an "exceptional performer with a majestic voice" by the Berliner Morgenpost, singer, songwriter and producer, Madame Haan is constantly touring around the world with a varied repertoire that encompasses German cabaret music of the 1920s and 1930s, French chanson, American repertoire, Broadway and other international songs. Madame Haan sings in 13 languages, which makes her unique in her field. Accompanied on piano by Richard Danley, the show was lively, with the audience joining in on certain choruses (Padam Padam, Milord, La Bohème, etc.) and ended with Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, in French please.
