Michel Reis (pianist), Marc Demuth (bass) and Paul Wiltgen (drums) are three of the most popular jazz musicians in Luxembourg. Formed in 1998, the Trio Reis-Demuth-Wiltgen a.k.a. the RDW Trio has distinguished itself on the Luxembourg scene, until each musician pursued their musical studies mainly in the United States or the Netherlands. Reunited in 2011, the RDW Trio released its first album of the same name on the Laborie Jazz label which received raving reviews. Since then, the Trio has made gone on many tours around the world and participated in major international jazz festivals in Europe and Asia. RDW recorded his second album "Places in Between" (Double Moon Records) in New York, which was released in June 2016 at Joe's Pub, NYC. For more information, please visit:


Pianist, composer and arranger Michel Reis is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, Boston, MA, where he played with Esperanza Spalding, Joe Lovano, Danilo Perez, etc. Based in New York and Luxembourg, he is constantly on tour in the USA, Europe, Central America, or Japan. In 2005, Reis was the finalist of the first Moscow jazz competition. A year later, he received the second prize at the Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition. He is preparing his fifth album.

Bassist and composer Marc Demuth got his Bachelor's and his Master's at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Hague, Netherlands, and is a graduate of the "Royal Conservatory" in Brussels, Belgium. He has shared the stage with Michael Brecker, Kenny Werner, Slide Hampton, and has long played with the Portuguese singer Sofia Ribeiro.  "Best soloist" competition of Jazz Rotary in Wavre, Belgium, he won the prestigious Jazz competition at Avignon, France. Residing in Luxembourg, he is the Head of the Department of Jazz of the Echternach Music School and has released two albums.

Drummer and composer Paul Wiltgen is a resident of New York where he has completed his graduate studies in jazz at the Manhattan School of Music.  Wiltgen is at the forefront of today’s the jazz scene. He has worked with several artists including with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mike Moreno, Will Winson. Wiltgen just received the 2nd place of the JazzWeek Charts in the USA with the Organic Trio for its album Saturn's Spell, a trio he shares with guitarist Brian Seeger and organist Jean-Yves Jung which will be touring next month in Europe, then perform at the French Quarter Jazz Festival in New Orleans, LA in April 6-7.
