Jeannot Krecké, Minister of the Economy and Foreign Trade and HRH The Crown Prince Guillaume at the awarding of the Luxembourg American Business Award

During a ceremony chaired by HRH the Crown Prince Grand Duke and the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Jeannot Krecké, the  Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in the United States awarded October 20, 2010 the "Luxembourg American Business Award 2010 to Husky Injection Molding Systems.
The prize, awarded every two years, prizes American companies established in the Grand Duchy, which play an important role in the Luxembourg economy. The award ceremony took place in a context of friendship where the emphasis is on maintaining good trade relations across the Atlantic.
Upon delivery of the Luxembourg American Business Award 2010, Jeannot Krecke praised the vision and contribution of Husky stressing that "this award is to honor a company that has adapted to the requirements imposed by the international market. The attention devoted to research and innovation are undeniably part of the assets of Husky and constitute a considerable advantage during difficult economic times. By identifying the requirements of tomorrow today, Husky maintains its place among the leaders on the international market. "
Husky acts as a business model that targets a long-term success. In this sense, the company has always invested in its future with an emphasis on youth training. Towards research and development (R & D), Husky is constantly working to improve and develop its products to adapt to new market demands.
Husky Injection Molding Systems, founded in 1953, started its manufacturing activities in Dudelange in 1985. This site has become the European headquarters for sales and service of molding systems. Husky Luxembourg employs some 768 people and has annual sales of approximately EUR 240 million almost due for export. Husky can boast of having become a leading global provider of equipment and services for injection molding. The company has over 40 outlets and customer service, including 19 technical centers covering a hundred countries. Manufacturing activities are concentrated on different sites - known internally "campus" - located in Canada, the United States, China and Luxembourg.
