Jessica de Vreeze is French American, born and raised in Paris, France. Upon completion of her Law studies and as well as being accepted to do her Master’s in Arts Appliqués from the Sorbonne, Luxembourg became her first destination for twelve years, at first not as a visual artist, rather as a lawyer. In 2003, after being sworn in by H.R.H. Grand Duke Henri, she worked for Arendt & Medernach, and Sky Broadband as a legal advisor, while pursuing her studies in Art and Photography. Despite a promising career in Law, she decided to return to the arts, showcasing her work at private exhibitions. Early 2016, as she was preparing her first significant exhibition in a gallery in Luxembourg, New York became a higher calling and “Portrait d’Atmosphère” premiered in Manhattan at Gallery 287 in May 2016.
“Portrait d’Atmosphère” is an exhibition largely inspired by her 12 years of residency in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and her recent move to New York City.
